A teacher of mine once said that having even one healthy relationship in your life can act as a protective factor against life's challenges.
My goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment in which such a relationship can develop. Holding the belief that all views of reality are valid allows me to offer you a space where validation, respect, acceptance, and compassion are the cornerstones of each interaction.
The ultimate goal, however, is to help you develop this relationship with yourself; to help you be the person your younger self needed so that you become your own source of resilience and power.
Healing is a uniquely individual process, but that does not mean that you have to undertake this journey alone. Whether you are seeking support navigating grief, life changes, stress, relationships, or any other challenge, therapy can be a safe space to explore the transformation from surviving to thriving.
With a background in social service work, I have worked with a diverse array of people, from all different walks of life. My approach is mindfulness-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered, supporting you in realizing your goals and discovering a deeper sense of holistic well-being.
I hold the belief the therapeutic relationship, founded on empathy and non-judgment, can guide the healing journey safely and collaboratively. I look forward to meeting you wherever you are and walking alongside you on your healing journey.
As a trauma therapist who is neurodivergent myself, I understand what it’s like to navigate a world that doesn’t seem built for you. Sometimes we find ourselves masking to meet societal standards at the cost of our authenticity and mental and physical well-being. Other times, we mask for so long, we forget who we are.
In my sessions, you can expect a therapist who is genuine, empathetic, and above all, passionate about creating a safe space for you to unmask. I believe therapy is not about someone passively hearing your story – it is about collaborating with someone who is actively engaged in a way that honours your lived experience.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and have obtained additional certifications in trauma treatment and couples therapy. My approach integrates Person-Centred, Emotion-Focused, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies along with Somatic Experiencing.
Throughout my work, I have seen profound transformations as clients learn to understand their reactions, develop resilience, and unearth their true selves. Whether you are grappling with the weight of past trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or learning to navigate relationships, I am here to help you discover tools for healing and growth.
