Hi, I’m Alex
Before becoming a therapist-in-training, I spent 14 years in law enforcement, including time as a tactical team leader. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what it’s like to carry high stress, witness trauma firsthand, and still try to show up like everything’s fine.
I know how hard it can be to take the first step into therapy, which is why I place a strong emphasis on establishing a genuine connection based on trust and why I commit to maintaining a judgement-free zone for those looking to overcome the shame often associated with symptoms of trauma.
Getting support when you need it is a sign of strength, not weakness. Bettering yourself is not something to be looked down on.
Hi, I'm Ioana
Being human is hard sometimes. Therapy should help—not make it harder. If you’re looking for real, down-to-earth therapy (without the clinical stiffness), you’re in the right place.
I work with adults and teens navigating a variety of mental health struggles. My approach is deeply relational and flexible—I draw from IFS (Internal Family Systems), Polyvagal theory, Somatic Experiencing, narrative therapy, EMDR, and Gottman, adapting in real time to meet you exactly where you are.
One of the most important things to know about me is that I show up as a real person first, and a therapist second. I don’t believe in hierarchy—I believe in collaboration. You bring the lived experience—I bring the tools, curiosity, and support. Together, we make sense of your story in a way that feels grounded and real.
My sessions are built on authenticity, curiosity, and compassion. I integrate a lot of psychoeducation along the way to reduce shame, build understanding, and help you feel empowered in your own process. Whether you’re working through trauma, navigating neurodivergence, or just trying to make sense of it all—I hold a space where all parts of you are welcome.
